A 1975 UFO Report Mentions 'Omniverse' and 'Teleportation'

The author of the 1975 UFO report offered in this article Gilbert N. Holloway (1915-2002) was a Los Angeles spiritual teacher, radio show commentator, author and lecturer.  His UFO report comprises 11 pages of his book This Way Up and is presented as follows with some of the speculative sentences omitted.

 

Previous blog articles about UFOlogy topics also include the word 'teleportation' (1, 2, 3, 4) along with perspectives about life in 'other dimensions' beyond the earthly sphere of existence.  (incl. 1, 2, 3, 4)  One question is whether readers differentiate between hypothetical statements from factual ones while perusing or reading through the multiplicity of online articles being offered about the 2021 military report Preliminary Assessment: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.  There has been scant published commentary to-date concerning the evidence presented to readers in the 2021 Metaphysical Articles alternative reports that continue to be available at this blog: 1, 2, 3, 4. 

 

The UFO Drama

Truth is always stranger and more important than fiction.  I can remember so well back in 1947 when Paul, my dear friend whom I later contacted in the spirit through Arthur Ford [trance medium], called me at my home in Hollywood.  He said, "Gilbert, have you seen the news about the strange discs or flying saucers near Mt. Rainier?"  No, I had not seen the reports, but this was my first brush with the Unidentified Flying Objects, or UFOs.

It was a story that startled the world, coming as it did only a few months after our first atomic detonations.  Thoughtful minds immediately began to wonder if there was a connection between the atomic bomb and the incursion of spaceships into our atmosphere.  Was another world really watching and observing us?

Not long after that in the same year I was lecturing in San Diego.  An old friend of mine, Dr. Meade Layne [1882-1961], a retired English professor from an Oregon college, came to me and said that he had discovered a young man who had a remarkable psi sensitivity.  His name was Mark Probert [1907-1969], and would I like to hear his message?

Always interested in new truth, I visited the home of Meade Layne the following afternoon.  Mr. Probert proceeded to go into the state of entrancement, and for an hour or more some very wise individuals talked through him.

One of them, I recall, was a Professor Alfred Luntz who had been a professor and scientist in England.  There were other distinguished communicators as well, and they talked and sounded exactly as they represented themselves to be.  Probert was largely uneducated, but the minds that spoke through him as a psychic telephone were erudite and well informed.

It was explained to us that the incursion of spacecraft was not to be feared but was an indication of extraordinary events forthcoming on our earthly plane.  The detonation of our atomic bombs was causing concern in many levels of the omniverse, and part of the mission of these craft was investigative . . . Then followed an explanation that I have never forgotten.  While some of the spacecraft were from other planets and even other galaxies, it was asserted that many of them were from other dimensions, that is, were of etheric origin.  Because these etheric spaceships did not originate in the three-dimensional world, they could change size, color, and shape at will, and could disappear and reappear.  Down through the years I have remembered this explanation, especially when good sightings by competent people reported that some of the craft would change color or size and then would disappear and reappear.

 
I regard this as possibly the greatest news story of the twentieth century, one which has largely been muffed or missed by the media thus far because very few writers and reporters are equipped with the background knowledge to interpret it. 

 

The UFOs are here, in different shapes and sizes and manifestations of power.  Most of them quite obviously are not of our civilization . . .   

 

You can even argue, if you must, that the earth colonies were established as prison farms or places of detention for rebellious spirits not wanted in more civilized locales of the omniverse!

 

Visitations

Although the spacecraft have been here in great numbers since 1945, there is a history of their visitation through all the recorded centuries.  They were the vimanas of ancient India.  Very possibly the minds that erected the Great Pyramid of Egypt and that built the strange airfields in Peru, the monuments of Easter Island, and other remarkable wonders of the ancient and modern world came from spaceships.

 

 

These space brothers have knowledge that will be very precious to us.  I would certainly write this book differently and with more profundity if I knew what they know.

 

But I shall never know more unless and until I investigate, and this subject will be in the front of my mind henceforth. . . .

 

Space Phenomena

The UFOs are here. You cannot laugh them away or shrug your shoulders about them, for they have made thousands of contacts here since 1947, and of course during the preceding centuries.  If they were only seen by mystics and sensitives such as the present writer, the scientific world might not take them seriously.  But they have been seen by airline pilots . . . practical people of every description.

 

In the early years of the UFO activity many fundamental Christians found a ready answer to the problems by ascribing UFOs to the devil.  I call this overworking the devil. . . .

 

There is the extraordinary Bermuda Triangle mystery.  The Bermuda Triangle is a large area from Cape Hatteras to Bermuda to the Bahamas and then down to the southern tip of Florida.  An enormous fuel ship disappeared there during World War I, and there have been continuous disappearances ever since.  

 

 

Many theories have been advanced about the Triangle, but none has been proved.  Many UFOs have been seen in the area, some of them entering or leaving the ocean far out from land.

 

On my KOB radio program have appeared top experts in the UFO and Bermuda Triangle fields . . . 

 

The public mind is very uncertain, especially since the media have tended to deceive the people in certain political and social issues.  So the masters of our society are not sure how the public will react to the news that other forces are coming from space, far above us in scientific and other knowledge.

 

Then there is the fact that the UFOs fly through our air and perform in a way, especially with speeds far beyond our capacity, that lets us know they have a propulsive power beyond our present understanding.  Since they have energy and power sources superior to ours, they could overpower us and conquer us if it were their purpose to do so.  

 

 

All of this poses an enormous question mark over our entire western civilization.  We don't really know where we stand. . . .

 

Psi Secrets 

The word psi is an abbreviation or symbol for psychic phenomena, or parapsychological knowledge and interest. 

 

 

Meade Layne used to say that some of the UFOs are themselves space beings, and their propulsive power is direct thought-energy.  In other words, the spacecraft can think themselves anywhere they wish to go, and they reach that destination.  This is also known as teleportation among psi students and researchers.  Instead of the years that scientists calculate may be required to reach distant galaxies or outreaches in space, it may only be moments, or changes in consciousness.  Remember that space is ultimately metaphysical, or psychic; it is consciousness extended.

 

It is exciting to await the next developments from space.  A great physical and trance medium in New York told me years ago that I would someday receive a welcome visitation from space people and exchange much information with them.  I await their arrival with pleasure and anticipation.  Since like attracts like in all worlds, I am prepared to receive them with cordiality and humility and look forward to the revelations they can give to this poor ignorant earthling.  We really know very little about concerns of great importance, and the time is running out on us for knowledge needed for survival. 

So do not discount the UFO mystery and its appropriate studies.  This avenue of exploration could be our last, best chance for survival.  God is trying to tell us something, and we had better listen.  The Bible tells us that some shall be taken and the others left.  There are those who believe that the rapture might occur through the instrumentality of UFOs and even that the Second Coming may be effected in this way.  Not that the Lord needs any conveyances to reach us, as He has all power and can move in any dimension or plane that He wishes to visit.

I am confident that tremendous revelations in the space field will come before the end of this century, possibly this decade, and in our spiritual development we need to anticipate this great wonder.

Gilbert N. Holloway wrote about the nature of being human in chapter 1 of This Way Up: "Man . . . is a physical being . . . He has or is a spiritual body, a psychic self, an intuitive entity, [hopefully] with needs and aspirations transcending the physical plane.  If the spiritual self is not fed or honored, soon happiness is gone."

 

In chapter 4 Holloway observed about "Powers of the Superconscious": 

The universal mind [of God, in theological terms] is by definition all-knowing, infinite intelligence.  This mind knows all things in time and space and is the ordering intelligence that first conceived the universe, brought it forth, and continues to operate and regulate it according to Divine law and wisdom.

Through the superconscious you are in touch with this universal mind, and in theory you, too, can gain any knowledge that you seek.  The superconscious can move anywhere in time or space, and there is no limit to its perception.
