My unexpected path of spiritual discovery eventually placed me in predicaments that otherwise would have been unimaginable. Ever since the year 1995 that proved momentous, my external reality has intermittently manifested an omnipresent guiding consciousness operating beyond earthly limitations to interact with me in all the ways chronicled in the case study book Testament and in autobiographical blog articles.
The documentary-style nonfiction case study of the time in my life when my 'paranormal initiation' culminated, Testament was published with a paperback first edition and free Internet edition in 1997 along with the first installments of an original follow-up book. As with other experiencers of so-called 'paranormal phenomena,' my primary concern was attempting to simply communicate what had occurred to me. The scope of events could only be perceived as an unlimited God Force revealing Participation in my life.
While growing up, occasionally reading books about unexplained phenomena offered vague confirmation that some manner of God Force existed yet I didn't give much thought to this and never reached any particular conclusion. Then in 1995 suddenly my experiences began presenting evidence that the unseen spiritual dimension of life was a dynamic aspect of the physical reality of daily existence. It was unthinkable to do anything else than inform other people about all that had occurred.
I ended my career as a Hollywood studio movie publicity writer ('a carpenter in the Hollywood dream factory') to begin work on Testament. The mountain logo that appeared at the beginning of each movie was understood as an obvious symbol of spiritual evolution as religious figures such as Moses and Muhammad had experienced revelations associated with a mountain.
I recalled metaphysical elements in the storylines of some of the films I'd helped to publicize while working as a staff writer for the Paramount publicity department (1, 2), including such movies as "Forrest Gump," "Ghost," the "Star Trek" series, "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," "Scrooged," "Dead Again," "The Butcher's Wife," "Leap of Faith," "Fire In The Sky" and the re-release of "The Ten Commandments."
The succession of diverse personalities that manifested in the haunted Oklahoma house I visited during my ‘talking poltergeist’ research expedition—the predominant manifesting entity was known as 'Michael' by the family—became revelatory of an Angelic Force upon my return home and witnessing the phenomenal events continue to occur in my solitary moments. It was then that I began recognizing religious symbolism with some of the incidents I'd experienced.
I was living and working in Los Angeles with the landmark Angelus Temple situated nearby my Echo Park hillside condo. The book chronicles about how the initiation gained momentum after I'd previously experienced two nocturnal 'raptures of Christ' and observing two enigmatic incidents of burning bushes occur outside my window on two different occasions.
Testament includes a description of what happened at an antique store near my home where I obtained some curious Egyptian artifacts. One of them was a medallion bearing the countenance in profile of an ancient Egyptian who distinctly resembled me. The more I studied it, the more convinced I became that this could be 'Bel-Marduk' so individual physical reincarnation remained an important issue for me to consider in addition to any metaphorical associations. I learned that there was a period when Italy created replicas of Egyptian artifacts so the pendant seemed one of these.
I’ve never seen any other object—Egyptian or otherwise—that reminded me of the way I looked in my younger years as
does the ‘round silver pendant.’ While I have an identical twin brother, the face didn't impress me as also resembling the visage as Mike's face throughout our younger years was a little more slender than mine.

There came a stark realization that the only justification for what had happened and was continuing to take place was because in some manner I am the reincarnation of Jesus Christ although I didn't know how such a thing could be possible or even conceivable. As chronicled in Testament, I began referring to myself as a contemporary "New Age Jesus."
As previously mentioned — Some longtime blog readers already know about the circumstances involving my particular orientation to the 1999 prophecy of Nostradamus that 'came true' in July that year. As with the Edgar Cayce 1998 Ra-Ta prophecy (1, 2) coming true, 'The Michael Pattern' is an aspect of the sequence of events. As I've reported in previous blog articles, 'the Michael pattern' is noticeable in such cases as Nostradamus, John Dee, the Fox Sisters associated with the Spiritualism Movement, Madame Blavatsky, Edgar Cayce, Guy and Edna Ballard, Leslie Flint, JZ Knight, Mark Probert, and the 'Messages from Michael' case. The Archangel Michael is the archetype for an angelic Force interacting with mankind throughout the ages. In my own life, instances of the Michael Pattern include the first name of my identical twin brother. Another discovered parallel between famous paranormal cases is 'The Bell Pattern.' Publicizing my startling experiences after the publication of Testament, I was interviewed on paranormal-themed and 'morning zoo' radio shows while my case was ignored and perhaps even covered-up by the mainstream news media, including Art Bell of the national radio program "Coast to Coast AM" with whom I sometimes interacted via on air telephone calls, Email and faxes. In some ways, I felt like an indecisive 'Hamlet' (Shakespearean character) attempting to deduce the meaning of my predicament while defining the boundaries of my 'Mark Russell Bell' pen name/persona. I seem to have been the inspiration for Art's broadcasts when he asked listeners to call in on a hotline dedicated to people who claimed to be the 'antichrist.' In response to my case study book, the pessimism of some people staggered my mind.
During one of the radio interviews when I answered the hosts' questions, I explained: ". . . my upbringing was such that at Sunday school and vacation Bible school I kept learning that Jesus was the only begotten Son of God. But now it was possible for me to discern that the Christ Force was manifesting around certain individuals who, more often than not, would be confused with this Force . . ."
While the God Force and my continuously manifesting 'guide'/'guardian angel' has always interacted with me in unlimited ways each day, I've always felt sad about all the ways that the Message Giver's dispensations (including psychic phenomena, mediumship and channeling) have remained unknown or misunderstood by so many people throughout the world with cynical and skeptical journalists contributing to the malaise. This has gone on for centuries.
Tony Bushby is an Australian author who has adopted the attitude ''there is no religion superior to truth" while investigating the history of Christianity. One of his books is The Twin Deception (2006).
Since James, Joses, and Simon are the brothers of Jesus, so then is 'Judas called Thomas.' The name Thomas as applied to Judas is a Grecized form of the Aramaic name, Toma or Tomas, a translation meaning 'twin.' The Hebrew form of the name is Teom (Song of Solomon 7:14) and corresponds to the English colloquial abbreviation, Tom. In an ancient version of the Syrian Bible, Thomas is called Tomme (Tommy) Didymus (twin twin) and the Gospel of John (11:16; 20:24 and 21:2) also calls Thomas, 'Didymus,' being the Greek word for 'twin,' hence 'twin the twin.'
It is therefore a fact of Gospel scholarship that 'Judas called Thomas' is the twin brother of Jesus, and in some older Bibles he is called "Judas the twin who is also Thomas," and 'Didymus the Twin.'
Later generations of churchmen and academics filled the words 'Christian' and 'Christianity' with complicated theological meanings until being a 'Christian' meant something entirely different than it originally was, and thus developed a new belief in a complex system of dogmas not originally existing.
In the 'Approved Holy Catholic Bible' of 1875, a comprehensive section is provided in the front of the book called the 'History of the Holy Catholic Bible,' being a detailed account of the passage of the Vulgate through time. It says of its origin; "we may date its birth about the end of the fifth century, in or about the last ten years of that century." St. Jerome died in 420, leaving a gap of 70 years before the Vulgate officially came into being. Even the most hard-line biblical scholars are grudgingly prepared to acknowledge that they don't know what changes were made to the Vulgate in those lost decades.
Around a century and a half later, the Vulgate received more editing, and at this time the alterations that were made were documented. For understandable reasons, the world of biblical scholarship is reticent to discuss in detail the recorded events associated with the council that made the changes. To do so may give rise to the loss of confidence that the church publicly places in the New Testament, but the truth of its composition is swiftly dashed when we turn to historical Roman records.
Previous to this time, the early church fathers accepted the concept of reincarnation and recorded their personal thoughts on the subject. St. Jerome, for example, left extensive passages outlining his beliefs on the subject, saying:
As to the origin of the soul, I remember the question of the whole kuriakos (church); whether it be fallen from heaven, as Pythagoras and the Platonists and Origen believe; or it be of the proper substance of God . . .In several verses of his work called Confessions (c. 401), Bishop Augustine personally wrestled with his expression of the "unexplainable" concept of pre-existence.
In 1881, the King James Bible was rewritten and the Committee responsible for the Revised Edition admitted that they made 36,190 editorial changes before certifying publication.
In light of the evidence discussed so far is one question . . . how does the FIRST Vulgate differ from today's version . . . and what does it say about Jesus' twin? Despite the church's long-standing attempts to suppress the most damaging information about its past, it provides comparative evidence that discredits every modern version, and a few variations are given here.
. . . it is revealing to note that the Acts of the Apostles and the Book of James are the only New Testament books not ending in the word 'amen.' This has led biblical scholars to believe they are incomplete in their present form and a comparison with the FIRST Vulgate proves them right. In modern Bibles, the Acts of the Apostles ends abruptly at Chapter 28, but the FIRST Vulgate has a 29th Chapter consisting of 26 verses totaling approximately 865 words. That concluding chapter mentions the Gospel of the Twin, the exodus of the Bethany Group, Paul's journey to Britain, his discussions with Druids, his preaching at Mount Lud (Ludgate) in Londinium, and a reference to the 'double' of Jesus.
Some speeches applied to Paul in Acts were consciously modeled on the earlier speeches of Apollonius of Tyana, a first Century Greek sage and wanderer from Tyana, and are documented in the records of his life (6:3). The church conceded that the authors of the Acts of the Apostles were not present at any speeches they recorded and said that they followed "the custom of ancient historians in writing the speeches themselves" (Catholic Encyclopedia, 1909 Ed., Acts of the Apostles). In other words, the speeches in Acts and other New Testament books are free compositions in which later authors put into the mouth of others, words they considered suitable to the earlier speaker, and the occasion.
