Gaga Manifests New Facets of the Mystery

Gaga constitutes another approach to contemplating society and Pop culture today — This Lady Gaga fan website image was inspired by news about a possible Betty Boop role in 2015.

During recent years Lady Gaga has sometimes personified flamboyance, excitement and outrageousness while manifesting Pop Culture conundrums.  Here are some of her Twitter comments (minus the emojis) before and after the release of her new "Chromatica" album on May 28:

Considering the recent civil unrest here in Los Angeles County at a time when the daily number of new positive coronavirus tests hasn't yet substantially subsided, I'm reminded about what channeled entity 'Lazaris' through Jach Pursel said during a recorded discourse uploaded on March 20: "All of this hinges on a fulcrum of compassion and passion that is alarmingly absent in your world . . . Without a foundation of wisdom and compassion rumors ferment and the environment of fear, irrational exaggeration and the rumors add to the ferment of this virus.  Different from other viruses.  On a deeper and more tragic level, people feel left out . . ."

Lazaris explained:

We have talked of the riptide-like undercurrents that are tearing at your world.  The lack of vision along with a lack of wisdom foster the collapse of imagination and the drought of dreams.  Imagining and dreaming are fueled by vision and by wisdom.


. . . people feel left out, abandoned with no future, with no hope, alienated in a world that they feel is no longer theirs. 

The 'Lazaris' case chronology is among documented 'channeled' data sources that can bring about spiritual and metaphysical insights although currently remaining unknown or misunderstood by most people.  It's an example of how each person individually is creating 'reality' for oneself and—where interacting with other people is involved as with mass media—contributing in ways profound or otherwise to other people's 'reality.'  

'Emmanuel' through Pat Rodegast is among the transcendental communicators who offer perspectives of Earth life, love and metaphysical aspects of existence experienced from beyond our earthly realm.  'Emmanuel' is quoted in the first published anthology of transcripts Emmanuel's Book (1985):

The path to love is found
by experiencing what it is like without love
just as the path to Light
is to be aware of darkness.
You make the supreme choice.
Love is not mastered.
It is allowed.

At the present time, the COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted many people's livelihood and income.  Simultaneously, familiar socialization and activities have been vastly curtailed, including entertainment and sports viewership alternatives as well as concerts and all manner of group assemblies.  Ironically, my own viewing of TV ended not because of any sudden decision on my part yet because in August 1995 an enigmatic unseen entity wouldn't permit me to do this.  I soon accepted the unusual nature of my life and set out to learn more about the reasons for an omnipresent spiritual Force manifesting in my presence — a situation that was more pronounced than in any other paranormal account known to me.  In 2020 sometimes when away from home this blogger sometimes will glimpse TV newscasts and be reminded how the traditional corporate orientation to reporting has resulted with a continuous contrived banter that in itself is demeaning to viewers.

My description of what happened on Tuesday this past week should be prefaced with a note about 'Bel-Marduk.'  Data sources about this subject are identified in books by Zecharia Sitchin, particularly The Wars of Gods and Men (1985).

 

The book is confounding as the name 'Marduk' is associated with different things: the great and national God of Babylon with 'Bel' signifying 'the Lord'; also a planet 'Marduk'; while other sources offer an account of there having once been at least one local 'god-king-priest' known or characterized as 'Bel-Marduk.'  The latter is described as being "incarcerated inside The Mountain" with Sitchin equating this mountain with the Great Pyramid of Egypt.  It is the more omnipotent Lord God who is equated with a cataclysmic and mythic Tower of Babel event.  Also mentioned in the book is the name 'Gaga,' who is given male characteristics—as with Marduk—in the epic verses translated from excavated cuneiform tablets.  I found the following five aspects/expressions among the ancient realities that correspond with contemporary carnate conditions today. 

1. Babylon

The Southern California province of 'Hollywood' has been equated with Babylon since the 1916 movie "Intolerance" resulted with a massive Babylonian set being erected in Hollywood for several years.  I once viewed the classic albeit antiquated movie in a college class years ago. 

Suggesting a seamier side to the illusorily glamorous movie industry epitomized by the name 'Hollywood,' Kenneth Anger's two books about Hollywood, Babylon were published in 1959 and 1984.  The original book has a present edition with a cover description proclaiming "The legendary underground classic of Hollywood's darkest and best kept secrets." 

2. Bel-Marduk

Previous blog articles and the case study Testament (1997) chronicle how this blogger discovered an apparent previous life as an ancient 'Bel-Marduk' after experiencing a series of unexpected and metaphysically revealing experiences, including a nocturnal 'rapture of Christ,' two occasions of bushes mysteriously going up in flames outside my Los Angeles condo, an unusual voice-hearing incident, and my expedition to Oklahoma to interview a family experiencing 'talking poltergeist' phenomena.  Soon after that, my 'Bell' pen name was passed on to me by my friend Marie upon hearing the name voiced by an unseen communicator.  I would go on to learn about such matters as the secret in the Bible and the parallels between Jesus and Bel.

I first read Sitchin's The Wars of Gods and Men back in the 1980s.  Upon reading the Bel-Marduk portions again in 1995, I recognized that for me there had always been an attraction to the ancient Egyptian culture.  Many of the details were vague.  One tablet mentioned a 24-year exile.  It seemed that much of what Sitchin related was his own interpretation.  I was fascinated by Sitchin’s The Earth Chronicles book series for attempting to prove the premise described on the inside front cover of a 1992 edition of The Wars of Gods and Men: "The Earth Chronicles series is based on the premise that mythology is not fanciful but the repository of ancient memories . . . and that ancient civilizations—older and greater than assumed—were the product of knowledge brought to Earth by the Anunnaki, 'Those Who from Heaven to Earth Came.'"

Since the eventful year of 1995, I would occasionally refer to Sitchin’s work and don't know if there are any other scholars besides Sitchin who correlate Bel-Marduk with Egypt’s Amun-Ra/Amen-Ra.

And what of the rescued Prisoner of the pyramid?

Mesopotamian texts relate that he went into exile; in Egypt Ra acquired the epithet Amen, “The Hidden One.”

3. The Mountain

There was an obvious parallel with the mountain logo seen at the beginning of each Paramount movie I'd helped publicize.  Similar to Bel being trapped in the mountain, my work had been dedicated to serving the corporate principality of Paramount Pictures for more than seven and a half years.  One of the mysterious occurrences during my talking poltergeist research in Oklahoma had been a beetle that looked like a scarab flinging itself against my hotel door for a considerable period late one night to produce a knocking sound when I was trying to sleep.

Testament includes a description of what happened at an antique store near my home where I obtained some curious Egyptian artifacts.  One of them was a round silver pendant bearing the countenance in profile of an ancient Egyptian who distinctly resembled me during my younger years.

The more I studied it, the more convinced I became that this could be Bel-Marduk so individual physical reincarnation remained an important consideration.  I learned that there was a period when Italy created replicas of Egyptian artifacts so the pendant seemed one of these.  While I have an identical twin brother, the face didn't impress me as also resembling him as Mike's face throughout our younger years was a little more slender than mine.

4. Tower of Babel

An aspect of modern society that might be compared to the obscure Bible passages (Genesis 11:1-9) about the city and tower of 'Babel' is how people today are culturally programmed to give their attention to entertainment (nonsense) rather than seeking what information is available that would allow them to expand their spiritual understanding of the relationship with God and all living things.

Hollywood as a locality symbolizing entertainment may be understood as correlating with the period in human history of spiritual confusion that began with 'Babel' and 'Babylon.'  Simultaneously, Hollywood is a district of 'Los Angeles' which also presents the symbol of angelic enterprise.  A previous article includes some discussion about the 'Tower of Babel.'

5.  Gaga

Zecharia Sitchin reported in The 12th Planet about Mesopotamian text written on seven clay tablets that became known as 'The Seven Tablets of Creation.'  The text was known in antiquity by the opening words "Enuma Elish" (Enûma Eliš / Akkadian meaning 'when on high' — the second word noticeably a variant of the name of contemporary recording artist Billie 'Eilish').  The text now known as "The Creation Epic" offers a cosmogony of the creation of our Milky Way galaxy.  Sitchin wrote:

Enuma elish la nabu shamamu
     When in the heights Heaven had not been named
Shaplitu ammatum shuma la zakrat
     And below, firm ground [Earth] had not been called

It was then, the epic tells us, that two primeval celestial bodies gave birth to a series of celestial "gods." . . .


Granted supremacy, the young god—Marduk, according to the Babylonian version—proceeded to face the monster [or 'Primeval Mother' named 'Tiamat'], and, after a fierce battle, vanquished her and split her in two.  Of one part of her he made Heaven, and of the other, Earth.

He then proclaimed a fixed order in the heavens, assigning to each celestial god a permanent position.  On Earth he produced the mountains and seas and rivers . . . [etc.]

Here is the beginning of Tablet III where 'Gaga' is mentioned.  (An alternate spelling used in some sources is Kaka.)  This quotation is from the translation by James B. Pritchard in Ancient Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament (1950):
 

Anshar opened his mouth and
To Gaga, his vizier, a word he addressed:
"O Gaga, my vizier, who gladdenest my spirit,
To Lahum and Lahamu I will dispatch thee.
Thou knowest discernment, art adept at fine talk;
The gods, thy fathers, produce thou before me!
Let all the gods proceed hither,
Let them hold converse, sit down to a banquet,
Let them eat festive bread, poured wine;
For Marduk, their avenger, let them fix the decrees.
Be on thy way, Gaga, take the stand before them,
And that which I shall tell thee repeat thou unto them:
'Anshar, your son, has sent me hither,
Charging me to give voice to [the dictates] of his heart,
[Saying]: "Tiamat, she who bore us, detests us.
She has set up the [Assembly] and is furious with rage.
All the gods have rallied to her;
Even those whom you brought forth march at her side. . . ."'" (etc.)

Tablet VI includes:  [after Marduk has slain Tiamat]

When Marduk hears the words of the gods,
His heart prompts (him) to fashion artful works.
Opening his mouth, he addresses Ea
To impart the plan he had conceived in his heart:
"Blood I will mass and cause bones to be.
I will establish a savage, 'man' shall be his name. . . ." (etc.)

Sitchin wrote as part of his summary: "Passing by the other god/planets, Gaga urged them to 'fix your decrees for Marduk.'  The decision was as anticipated: The gods were only too eager to have someone else go to settle the score for them. . . ."

Sitchin commented: "Biblical scholars now recognize that the Hebrew Tehom ('watery deep') stems from Tiamat; that Tehom-Raba means 'great Tiamat,' and that the biblical understanding of primeval events is based upon the Sumerian cosmologic epics."

The noticed planetary aspects of the divine 'Marduk' inspired such conjecture as shown in Figure 106 in The 12th Planet shown below: "And he shifted a satellite of Saturn, Gaga, to become the planet Pluto . . ." 

Last Tuesday while conducting some Internet research, I happened to notice on YouTube that Lady Gaga's new song "Babylon" had been released a few days ago (May 28).  I'd heard some of her previous hit songs while attending my fitness club, smiled sometimes when I heard high school students talk about her, and have seen articles about her at news websites over the years.  Many of her songs are about love, including a rendition of "La Vien Rose" — a song mentioned in a previous article.  While writing this article I noticed that one fan found a photo from one of her music videos where she resembles a planet herself —

   

I hadn't seen the "Born This Way" music video until writing this article.  My reaction is what are people thinking as they watch this video?

Last Tuesday It was surprising and perhaps even startling to consider that Lady Gaga had released a song entitled "Babylon."  I felt compelled to listen to the song yet after doing so didn't give much reflection to the lyrics at the time.  Maybe this was because I was feeling tired.  Then that night I had some unusual dreams.  I've been keeping a journal about my dreams, making notes about the most memorable ones.  There was an unusual tableau experienced where I found myself reunited with a male acquaintance from years ago and I was telling him about my female neighbor, a sweet lady who went nameless (nobody recognizable from Earth life).  As usual, I experienced the dream as if it was something actually happening.  My male acquaintance expressed interest in her.  He'd been too much of a ladies' man and was married when I knew him yet there was no blatant indication of anything libidinous about him now.  When he was no longer present and I found myself speaking about my male acquaintance to my neighbor through our shared medicine cabinet (a bizarre predicament once seen in old TV commercials and something that has occurred in previous dreams) it brought a feeling of intense discomfort.  I then awoke and realized that this was a dream about gossip—that disturbing biblical sin—and remembered that this word was prominent in the lyrics of the Lady Gaga song.

The name of Babylon has been evoked in numerous Pop songs with a list of many hundreds presented when I conducted a lyrics search of the word 'Babylon' this week.  Previous songs mentioned in blog articles (1, 2) with lyrics related to the theme of 'Babylon' are Nina Hagen's "The Change" and Laurie Anderson's "Bright Red".

When I'd made a living as a talent agent and then as a movie publicist, scandalous behavior and gossip were among the usual and daily concerns.  During the 1980s and 1990s, there were many unfortunate aspects of human interaction in relation to sex that are now being addressed with the 'Me Too' movement.  However, what still is a blind spot is the enormity of spiritual dispensations being ignored or unknown throughout the mainstream of the populace worldwide — something mind-boggling and the reason for this blog existing in the first place.  (My encounters with the symbolic cartoon figure of 'Betty Boop' are mentioned in previous articles: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.)   

I'm aware that the events of my life comprise a complex and multi-faceted mystery—seemingly as does everyone's—yet my experiences make me an ideal person to explain to contemporary people about each one of us having "at least one accompanying spirit" during Earth life.  This is something I've been exploring and describing since August 1995.  The 'channeled entity' Emmanuel is quoted about spirit guides in Emmanuel's Book:
 

You are guided.
I wish to reaffirm that for you.
Some of us who no longer need to be human
exist in our realm of consciousness
to guide and to teach.
Meet us as friends.
Allow us into your lives.
We do not wish to be worshipped.
Worship belongs to One only.

that will direct you towards your own inner Light.


Your guides are spirits on the plane of forgiveness
who have ultimately forgiven themselves.
They now seek to aid you
in your own self-forgiveness
and in finding the true Christ
within each one of you.


Be open to receive.  It comes slowly, you know.
This illusory wall between my reality and yours
has a seemingly solid dimension on your side.
I see it not at all.


We subtly speak to you in sleep,
in meditation, in inspiration,
until you are ready and willing
to a clearer means of communication.
You receive these communications not only audibly
but in your hearts as well.
The doors are open.
The teachers are ready.
