Several Channeled Teachings for Expanded Consciousness
I know that new readers of this blog may be unfamiliar with my unusual life circumstances and might be left with unanswered questions after reading the previous blog article. The 'anomalous' incidents that I observed at CPC Alhambra Hospital seem to be occurrences suggestive of allegorical meanings that correspond with what may be learned in transcendental communication case transcripts. Collectively, the annals of 'paranormal phenomena' are occurrences that have helped accomplish gradual accelerated spiritual understanding among humanity.
One realization brought by writing these chapters or articles is how one can go through life doing the best one can yet not with utmost seriousness concerning all known conditions—such as striving for optimum nutrition in relation to health—until some profound experience expanding one's sense about the consequential aspects of life. Something that has been expressed is my realization of the profound importance of personal beneficence in relation to interactions with other people.
The reason for the current series of autobiographical chapters now being published for the first time is my recent chronic illness diagnosed as IBS, a digestive disorder of the intestines with a variety of different potential causes varying among individuals. The disorder is common throughout the world, estimated to involve as much as 15% of the populace and particularly older people past the age of 60. In my case, it seemed a chance virus in June 2017 resulted in a sudden state of intense abdominal discomfort one night upon waking from sleep. The recovery process is ongoing.
Some severe IBS symptoms including weight loss have made it necessary for me to recently retire from my high school Special Education office position after 17 years of working at local schools. A recent consultation with an allergy relief specialist has brought the diagnosis that a contributory aspect of my condition is an allergy to dustmite D. Farinae. I found an online article about this: "Sensitization to House Dust Mites in Patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome."
1995 was another time of significant change in my life. After the unusual spiritual awakening described in recent blog articles, I left behind my entertainment industry career to become a noncommercial metaphysical author. Ironically when considering incidents mentioned in the previous article, two movies I helped publicize were the Paramount comedies "Crazy People" (1990) and "I.Q." (1994), the latter movie involving a whimsical depiction of Albert Einstein as a character who elects to play a most unlikely Cupid. "Crazy People" is about a frazzled ad agency executive who discovers that honesty in advertising has results beyond anyone's wildest expectations. At one point I contemplated entitling my autobiography 'Hollyweird' yet realized that the corporate framework dominating professional creativity make such a title irrelevant. In 1997 I personally decided not to devote any more of my time to watching fictional narrative movies or commercial TV shows.

Here in Los Angeles it is common for street billboards to publicize holiday season or summer movies many months in advance and so it was following my experiences described in the preceding few articles when I noticed the billboard for "Jumanji" with the slogan "Are you game?" Ironically, this past week I saw an Internet ad for a new "Jumanji" movie with the slogan "Everything will change." There is also a new "Star Wars" movie and a movie version of "Cats," which as a musical stage production I was able to see in London during a vacation back in the '80s. I presume you-know-who will again be going "up up up past the Russell Hotel" and "past the jellicle moon . . . to the Heaviside layer."
People who skim-read blog articles may not comprehend some of what is simply stated in my journalistic account of my unusual spiritual awakening. It is easily understandable how readers use the process of skimming through an article to get the gist of something; however, in my case, if some of the details are missed or overlooked then the multi-faceted process of my ultimately life-changing paranormal initiation may not become readily apparent. Considering the article published last week, when I use the word 'demonic' or make use of such musings as "The possessed today are singers . . ." it is not to imply that one should fear the 'demons' who are hypothetical objects of antiquated superstitious dogma. Something that many contemporary people may fail to comprehend is the superficiality of a superstitious orientation involving the literal interpretation of there being a Devil and demons. Prominent transcendental communication case transcripts present perspectives of 'guides' that instruct about factors encompassing the evolutionary processes of reincarnation, karma and spiritual development on Earth. Ignorance and superstitious beliefs have interfered with transcendental communication cases being considered as a valued subject with the potential to expand one's spiritual and metaphysical understanding.
Contemporary channeler Paul Selig on one occasion has orated the instruction, ". . . the manifestation of a miracle is in fact the action of the Creator in combination with the human energy field, with support from the guides and with higher systems." Direct voice medium Leslie Flint's guide 'Mickey' can be heard instructing in one audio recording of a seance: ". . .you have certain guides or controls — or people who have a certain specific work to do who really are acting under the agency of higher souls." Contemporary channeler Kevin Ryerson's guide 'John' is quoted as having said on one occasion: "Fluctuations in your states of spiritual growth determine which entities you attract."
A previous blog article about trance communication and the medium D. D. Home includes vernacular about benefactor guides having "took possession" of the entranced medium during an 1868 seance. Following the revealing experiences at CPC Alhambra Hospital, one form of transcendental communication that I’ve learned about is Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC). The annals of ITC report that in the ascended state after Earth life, an individual can live on a world similar to Earth as one 'sphere' of existence; therefore, the 'channeling' incident involving communication about the Great Creator, life "at Home" and crop harvests on some other planet might correlate with ITC descriptions of life on other 'planets' in the afterlife. Yesterday seemingly in conjunction with my writing this article, my 'guides' began manifesting in a few ways just before I got out of bed to begin the day as if encouraging me to share this with my readers. First, there was a predicament experienced in a dream — a woman asked me to take a photograph of her and I agreed yet she disappeared just before I was going to take the picture. Upon waking from the dream, as I continued resting there were taps on the leg that I construe as meaning 'yes' (when taps occur on the other leg the meaning is 'no'). A song melody I've recently been hearing at the gym came into my mind (I don't know the song title) so I reflected about the transcendental aspect for this. A few seconds later the song that then 'popped' into my mind was the Barry Manilow hit "I Write The Songs" written by Bruce Johnston of The Beach Boys in 1975. Barry Manilow was my mom's favorite singer and this was an unexpected song for me to remember, to say the least.
Last year during the holiday season I wrote in an article about the criminal accusations against renowned Brazilian healer John of God (João de Deus): ". . . Hopefully, when João is permitted to respond to finding himself in this sad predicament, people around the world will have an opportunity to become better educated about the phenomena of channeling, a revived spiritual dispensation for the Aquarian Age." Sadly, one year later such a response has not yet been reported in any of the English language media reports that I've read.
One source that I've often found to offer disinformation about metaphysical subjects is Wikipedia as it seems to attract as editors/contributors people whom I refer to as 'denialists.' A skeptical person has an open mind while a denialist is focused on denying the reality of something. An example of Wikipedia disinformation is provided in a new book by Linda Dearsley, Voices Everywhere. Linda coauthored with psychic medium Doris Stokes six autobiographical books and the new book is the second of two reminiscing books by Linda.
Linda Dearsley commented about the mentality shown by people propagating wrong allegations about Doris, such as what may currently be read at Wikipedia in the article about her:

An example of Wikipedia disinformation is provided in a new book by Linda Dearsley, Voices Everywhere. Linda coauthored with psychic medium Doris Stokes six autobiographical books and the new book is the second of two reminiscing books by Linda.
Linda Dearsley commented about the mentality shown by people propagating wrong allegations about Doris, such as what may currently be read at Wikipedia in the article about her:
The trouble was, critics and the press started from the point of view that what Doris claimed to be doing was obviously impossible. Since no one could do the impossible, Doris' apparently impressive results could only be achieved by trickery.
Longtime readers of this blog may find it noteworthy to learn that Linda's husband is named Michael and that at one point in her career Doris was a regular 'resident medium' at the headquarters of the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain, at the time located in Belgrave Square, London. The following paragraph is an example of one of the eyewitness testimonials about the clairaudient mediumship of Doris Stokes from Voices Everywhere.
"She was brilliant at phone-ins," recalled broadcaster Ed Doolan of BBC WM in Birmingham at the time. "One hundred percent straight up and she came on my show many times. But that first time, in between all the stuff she was getting for callers, she kept telling me about my father. 'He's got the same name as you,' she said. Which was true. And, 'He's talking about a birthday. Why's this birthday important?' 'Well he died on my birthday,' I said. I was amazed."
Doris began achieving worldwide renown upon being invited to be a guest on a popular TV talkshow in Australia. Linda remembered:
This was a very big deal for Doris. At this point, at nearly 60 years of age, as well as being a wife to John and mum to their adopted son Terry, her life had consisted mainly of working as a nurse in a mental hospital and demonstrating mediumship in the local spiritualist churches in her spare time, for around ten bob (50p) a session. The fee was little more than her bus fare home.
Doris had unwittingly stumbled into the spotlight on Australia's most popular and talked-about TV show.
Once the cameras started rolling, as well as chatting with the charming Don [host Don Lane] himself ("Handsome boy. Lovely smile."), Doris was encouraged to talk to the live studio audience and show them what she did. Such a demonstration wouldn't have been permitted on UK TV back then, I believe, but in Australia the same rules didn't seem to apply.
The effect was electrifying.
The next night, an episode of "Starsky & Hutch" (one of the top TV shows of the era), was postponed so that Doris could come back and do another lengthy live demonstration in front of a new TV audience.
When even this second appearance couldn't satisfy demand, Mike Edgely, a top Australian tour producer, approached Kerry Packer to suggest Doris go on a six-week tour around some of the country's biggest theatres.
Yet she'd only been doing what she'd always done for the last 30 years to almost complete indifference in England.
A trickle of journalists, intrigued by reports from friends in Australia of the Doris effect, began to wander over to Fulham to find out who she was . . .
Then one day, Garth Pearce, show business editor of the Daily Express, happened upon the reports from abroad and was curious to meet Britain's unlikely and unknown overnight sensation.
During the meeting, the journalist learned about the autobiography co-written by Linda and he went on to introduce Doris to his literary agent. A few weeks later, the book Voices in My Ear (1980) had found an agent and a publisher. The book became a bestseller and in later years a series of popular and beloved sequel books followed.
The name used by Doris for her 'spirit guide' was 'Ramanov.' [sometimes alternately spelled Ramonov in the books]
Doris always said that, every night before she went to bed, she spoke to her spirit guide Ramanov for advice; so, naturally, the subject of her stage appearances came up.
Apparently, his instructions on this matter never changed: "He always tells me to trust," said Doris. "He says 'just trust, child. We've never let you down before and we'll never let you down now.'"
The development of mediumship for Doris is described in Voices In My Ear.
The more practise I had, the more experienced I became at distinguishing the voices. At first it seemed to me like one voice speaking inside my head, but after a while I realized it was outside me, and then that it wasn't one voice but different voices. Soon I was able to tell if they were male or female, old or young.
One night I flopped as usual into our newest, most comfortable chair, a high backed, winged style, in black leather. I was too tired even to fetch my book from the table. I leaned back and closed my eyes, enjoying the silence. Then I heard a voice. "I will teach you," he said, "sit here, every night when the house is quiet and I will teach you."
I didn't know it then, but I'd found my guide. It wasn't until years later that I learned his name — Ramonov is the nearest I can come to the pronunciation. I knew nothing about him but he was always there to help me. Every night I sat in the leather chair that became known as Ramonov's chair and Ramonov would talk to me. Usually he told me a little story, almost a parable and I would think about the meaning as I scrubbed dirty floors the next day. Ramonov rarely interrupted when I spoke at meetings, but if I got in a mess or several voices tried to communicate at once and I was confused, he'd break in and help.
A Tribute to Doris Stokes was published in 1988.
Aspects of life such as mediumship, our 'guides' and human creativity express the intermediary and unlimited nature of the omnipresent spiritual Oneness sometimes finding comparison to a 'spark' of the divine within each living thing. The synthesis of personal experiences considered in the light of metaphysical and spiritual teachings results with one knowing the importance of each person becoming a 'christed' one and carefully considering the consequences for the decisions that we individually make in our day-to-day lives. God and our guides are always intent upon helping us to improve the quality of life for ourselves and all beings interconnected throughout the entire Earth ecosystem and the cosmos beyond.
A person's lack of awareness about the interaction of one's main guide (or 'guardian angel') may limit the ability of the guides to be of help. Twenty-four years later after my eventful summer of 1995, what today remains most unsettling when I contemplate my predicament in life is how different are some aspects of my daily life from anyone else known to me when I consider the level of interaction with my 'guide' who, after all, if not 'God' is the ordained unit of spiritual Oneness interacting from the ascended realm of human existence.
Considering the annals of 'channeling' (or other forms of 'transcendental communication'), these cases can be dated as far back as the ancient world with esoteric knowledge about temples and oracles persisting to the present day. Many articles at this blog are designed to share some of the details and complexities of these cases — see "Channeling Cases - Articles and Videos Links Index".

The following examples of teachings from a 'guide' (or 'channeled entity') are from Teachings of Silver Birch (1938) edited by A. W. Austen, one of the many books offering transcripts of transcendental communication that are mentioned in blog articles. The 'trance medium' was journalist Maurice Barbanell. The book mentions that sometimes other 'guides' controlled the medium: "So we have been visited by Northcliffe, Galsworthy, Hall Caine, Gilbert Parker, Horace Greeley, Dick Sheppard, Abraham Lincoln and personal friends of the sitters."
Note from Mark Russell Bell: Every day is Christmas when one understands the metaphysical reality of 'God' and the 'Christ Spirit.' Considering the current blog series of autobiographical articles, I expect that someone who has read all of these articles would have considerable knowledge of myself. I've made my life an 'open book' so that other people can expand their spiritual consciousness.
As our teaching grows in your world, it will mean the end of all separateness between peoples. It will mean the end of national barriers. It will mean the end of race distinctions, class distinctions, colour distinctions and all the distinctions between churches and chapels, temples, mosques and synagogues . . .
So out of the apparent confusion, the divine pattern will take its shape and harmony and peace will come. I tell you these things, so that you can understand part of the great Plan, the part that we who return from the world of spirit play in it, and the part that each one of you must play in it before your earthly course is run.
When you have people who develop their gifts, which all come from the Great Spirit, and use them for the benefit of all the others, then there will be built a system founded on that which is eternal.
That which is called God is the natural Law of the universe. The Great Spirit is within everything. Everything is the Great Spirit. Because the soul knows itself, the Great Spirit knows the soul. Because the sparrow is the Great Spirit, the Great Spirit knows the sparrow. Because the Great Spirit is in the trembling leaf, the trembling leaf is the Great Spirit. Throughout the whole of your world and mine, throughout the universe, even in worlds which are not yet known to you, the Laws of the Great Spirit reign supreme.
Resurrection is part of the law of life. Resurrection comes to every soul when it is resurrected from the body of matter when death arrives. Resurrection belongs to no one man. It belongs to all the children of the Great Spirit, for everyone in turn must pass through the portal of death, leaving behind the body of matter, and begin a new life in the realm of spirit, in the body of spirit, which has been preparing itself all the time.
Before you learn, you must unlearn. You must discard all that which hinders your minds from thinking as they should. Thus your soul and your spirit grow and you are ready for higher knowledge.
When an artist is inspired, he then responds to a vibration which is not the one to which he responds normally. In that state, he is the recipient of a power which enables him to translate visions on to the canvas, but when the inspiration departs he cannot do that.
I want you to know that we are close to you, even when you cannot hear us, even when it seems that we are invisible, unseen, unheard, unfelt.
We are around and about you because we love you, and the love that we have for you makes us always seek to serve you and, through you, those who require service — the weak ones, the ones who have lost their strength, the ones who have fallen by the wayside, the derelicts of your world, the weary and struggling souls who do not know where to turn, who can find no comfort in the religion of earthly churches but who have a yearning for truth, those whose souls seek expression but who are choked by the creed and the dogma and the teaching of opposing sects.
May you become conscious of that mighty power that is around and about you . . . the great Force, the great Spirit, that is behind it all, so that, working in unison with His laws and filled with His knowledge, you may become instruments of His Servants for all His children. May the Great Spirit bless you all.
