"Exploring Ancient Egypt Adventure — Initiation with Sekmet"
This video made inside an Egyptian temple is a little more than 12 minutes in length and shows Kevin Ryerson speaking to a tour group. Then there is video footage of him in trance while channeling 'Atun-Re.' There is also a few words from 'John' heard at the end of the channeling interlude.

This
article presents some quotations of 'John,' one of the channeled
entities who has consistently spoken through Kevin Ryerson's trances.
John was the first 'spirit teacher' to manifest during the earliest
years of Kevin's channeling. Kevin Ryerson commented about John in his autobiography Spirit Communication: The Soul's Path (1989):
This blogger had the opportunity to attend a Kevin Ryerson channeling session during my early research into this field. The exhibition was given at the Philosophical Research Center auditorium on February 21, 1998. In addition to John, an Egyptian of Nubian descent named Atun Re and the Irish Tom MacPherson in succession gave discourses through Kevin. As the channeler was seated on the elevated platform at the front of the auditorium, the audience was able to clearly watch Kevin's countenance as he went in and out of trance. Even for a channeling newcomer such as me at the time, there was no question about the authenticity of the proceedings.
A soft-spoken personality, John identifies himself as an Essene scholar of Hebrew ancestry and a disciple of the man Jesus. On occasion, he has identified himself as John, son of Zebedee, and has talked about his experiences as one of the twelve apostles. His manner of expression is what we would think of as "biblical." both in his language, such as the use of the biblical pronouns ye and thee, and in his many references from that time period. But John's knowledge is not limited to biblical times. He is able to give discourse on the spiritual and philosophical knowledge of all ages and cultures and seems to have spontaneous access to such fields as modern physics, medicine, and advanced technology.

The following passages of John's oratory from the book are from Part III.
There are many descriptions of God, but only one that reveals that great being's true nature. God is love, and love is the altruism that exists in each and every one of you. It is the ability to give forth from yourselves as abundant beings. For if you are immortal, if you are a spirit, if you are the children of God, then you may give of yourself in no shallowness and no hesitation. And you will then, in each act, transcend the mundaneness of the physical plane and become more and more the children of God. For this is the merger of the mind, the body, and the spirit in dedication and service to God.
In God, who is omnipresent and impersonal, we find slumber, we find sleep. In yourselves, as the children of light who are co-creators with God in the universe, we find an awakenness. That which awakens awakens only for the purpose to return to slumber, yet that which slumbers slumbers only for the purpose to reawaken. That which appears is only for the appearance to disappear. Ultimately, God is sleep. This is nirvana. The awakenness is the expression of your individuality within God and that uniqueness within yourself. So, it is through you that God perceives and expresses upon this plane. You are the eyes, the ears, and the senses of God upon this plane. There is a deep personal relationship between yourself and the divine. God is love. When you manifest a loving nature, you manifest the personal nature of God. God is the Father/Mother God that is neither male nor female. There is only oneness.
It has been said that none may see God, but you may feel, sense, and come into the presence. If by this it means that you see yourself more clearly, then perhaps you have seen God. If you have seen a loving act, you have seen God.
Man looks to God as though he has the power to cause change. There is no such thing as change, there is only movement. Movement may cause inspiration in the minds of men so that they may seek to achieve higher goals. God is love, so therefore, if you love your brothers and sisters on the earth plane, you are in harmony with them and you manifest God, or the power to cause movement.
God is love, and love is harmony. Manifest harmony within the self and you become the greatest healer of all, for through your personal example, others will desire to be drawn into the light, and it is better to light even a single candle than to curse the darkness.
Love the Lord God with all your heart and mind and your neighbor as yourself. Keep this commandment and you can break no other. Be not burdened by laws, for laws were to give you the ability to itemize your progression, to give you measure of inner peace.
Memory is developed by a process of repetition. You focus upon conditions in this lifetime, hence they become the most familiar. But when you move beyond the mundane memories of this lifetime, you begin to recall and be inspired by the memory of God.
As you progress, so in turn do the spirit guides and teachers about you progress. Above all else, you promote one another's well-being. They are usually members of your soul group, but in the discarnate state.
Spirit guides and teachers are not infallible in the information they give. Advice from them should be taken as just that — advice or counseling from one who perhaps has a broader spectrum of life experience.
Your superconscious mind, which is synonymous with the spirit, is the sum total of all your past lives and all your future potentials. It is a vast ocean of cosmic consciousness that all of you are at one with.
In trance channeling, that which you term a discarnate personality is able to utilize the physical body for communication from planes beyond the realms of its normal five sensory patterns. Such communications are for the advancement of the collective consciousness of mankind as a whole.
A New Jesus: Rediscovering His Deeper Teachings Through Intuitive Inquiry (2011) is a book by William H. Kautz that presents transcripts of orations by 'John' as given through Kevin Ryerson. William H. Kautz (Sc.D., M.I.T.) is Founder and Director of the
Center for Applied Intuition and formerly he was a Scientist at SRI
international. The quotations of John are from "a transcript of four long interviews . . . on the life and teachings of Jesus."
Kautz commented about contemporary perspectives of how the Bible came to be: "We know now that over the first two centuries after Jesus's death the Church fathers screened and modified all four Gospels . . . The residual apocrypha was declared heretical and illegal, and most were destroyed." Kautz wrote about Kevin Ryerson "entering a sleep-like trance state . . . On awakening from this level of consciousness he has little or no conscious memory of what transpired while he was not present."
During his conversations with John, Kautz once asked, "I'm wondering if you, as the channel speaking, are part of a group soul or a collective set of beings, a multi-dimensional personality, say, of which John son of Zebedee is only one member." Here is the response quoted in the book.

You might say that all souls are multi-dimensional, but there is a core identity around which lies the historical soul group and where activities may revolve. Souls do have individuality. The channel speaking may be said to be that identity that was John of the Revelation, John son of Zebedee and author of the fourth Gospel.
The historical identity of the channel speaking may be established by patterns of speech, by the knowledge given and in the manner in which the Christ energy is viewed, as being consistent with the continuity of the synoptic Gospels and the Gospel attributed to the being speaking. Therefore, the historical identity and perspective offered is that of a witness to the events described.
Souls incarnate across time and space; therefore it might be said that the channel speaking has had other incarnations, like many souls, and may have incarnations in other sectors of time or even another universe. Thus all souls are multi-dimensional. The idea that it is a form of collective, other than that there are soul groups of other individualized expressions of souls, would not be a completely inaccurate description.
Some advice for any reader unfamiliar with 'channeling'
and interested in learning more about this phenomena is that beyond concentrating on what an entity is saying, also consider how what is being related could involve a synthesis of the literal and the figurative or metaphorical. Longtime
readers of this blog will recognize that it is the reader knowledgeable
about diverse aspects of 'transcendental communication' who is aware how
the mentalities of contemporary people will impact what information is
given and how it is expressed during a channeling session. For example, when I reviewed the
channeled book Messages from Heaven (2015) by Ryuho Okawa, this was how an overview was articulated: "Upon
reading the transcript of the channeled discourse attributed to 'Jesus
Christ,' it is evident that the objective of the commentary is not to
prove the identity of the communicator but to encourage reflection of
spiritual truths. It is as if the figurative embodiment of Jesus
Christ as formulated in the 1611 King James Bible is addressing
contemporary people. I found myself having a similar impression while
reading the transcripts of the three other discourses featured in
Messages from Heaven in relation to extant scriptures and popular
understanding of these adulated religious figures." The reader might also compare, for example, Eileen Garrett and Ira Progoff's Trance Medium Research Collaboration.
The following passages of John's oratory are from A New Jesus: Rediscovering His Deeper Teachings Through Intuitive Inquiry.
Jesus, Joseph and Mary were Essenes, and indeed, Jesus was raised and his earliest trainings were with the Essenes, a fact which can be found at the ancient synagogue at Carmel.
He [Jesus] hoped that, when there would be the time of the diaspora, the scattering or the shattering of the Jewish culture into the nations, that they [the Essenes] could become divine in their own time through the great revelations he had worked. For at the turning of every age, [just as] ye now have upon thee the so-called Age of Aquarius, ye know that there is great hope for the transformation of the whole of society. [He had] great hope that the Essenes could be that vehicle.
[responding to a question about traveling to the East] The man Jesus, [living with] his family in Nazareth, was known [as the] Messiah. But it was well known that these individuals traveled for studies and other endeavors. In his travels he returned to further studies in Egypt and traveled as far as India. The legend of a Jeshua, and scrolls giving accounts of his travels [there], hold true.
Amidst the historical records it was known that Jesus, having studied in both India and Tibet, and having extraordinary knowledge of the so-called siddhis and meditations there, led him to contemplate that the nature of a Messiah was universal.
The willingness of Jesus to ride into Jerusalem upon an ass is an act of humility rather than an act of great pageantry, like the imperialistic royal chariot seen upon a wall in Egypt, which he surely visited. So his act became antithetical to the material trapping of kingship. He took upon himself the fulfillment of prophecy. One who was truly to be master of the inner kingdom must show the quality of humility spoken of in these prophecies.
[regarding the production of wine at the wedding in Cana] Some have said that he merely chose sweet water, as the Essenes practiced the symbolic taking of wine (for they did not believe in alcohol). This became the natural miracle. However, we say now that the water contained wine.
[regarding the resurrection of Lazarus several days after his death] Jesus then performed the multiple names of God, precisely in the manner by which Moses parted the so-called Red Sea, calling down similar energies. This is where it is said that he then shouted in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!" And so he did, even still wearing the grave clothes. This was a form not of resuscitation but authentic resurrection and rejuvenation of the physical body. It was not the glorified body that is spoken of, where the body may achieve physiological immortality.
After teaching forty days, and healing many of the relationships between the disciples, Mary Magdalen indeed took upon herself a marriage. It did not have to be marriage to the man Jesus, who remained a prophet and chose the path of divine celibacy. One of his brothers wooed her, within the tradition, for he was something of a romantic. Since his brother had set her aside, it might even be his responsibility, according to the older laws, to engage her in marriage.
She accepted this proposal and eventually lived her years in a region in France. There was an Essene community there that later became known as the Cathars. The Magdalen established the so-called Merovingian lineages of the kings of France and then Europe. These are the stories attributed to Mary Magdalen, and the birthline of Mary unto those who became European leaders by the bloodlines of Jesus and Mary.
So while he spoke of re-birth and regeneration of the soul through knowledge, wisdom and the Holy Spirit, he spoke most directly of reincarnation.
Jesus taught reincarnation, for when a blind man was brought, his disciples came unto him and said, "Lord, who has sinned, that this man was born blind?" Jesus said, "Verily, I say unto thee, no person has sinned. This man has been born blind that God may be glorified." He spoke to the man, and he could then see.
Ultimately Jesus's incarnation amidst the Essenes came to represent the other lifetimes he has led—33 in total—which we may wish to give comment upon at a latter point in time. And there were those such as the prophet Cayce has given in discourse. But these [to follow] are the lifetimes we would concentrate upon, and in particular in relationship to the development of the individual and the origins of the concept of the Christ. [The lives linked with the following seven names are discussed: Amelius, Adam, Enoch, Job, Melchizedek, Zoroaster, Hanoch.]
[regarding events of upheaval coinciding with the death of Jesus] Jesus, of course, was not without his followers. Indeed, did he not feed more than five thousand, in the miracle of the fishes and the loaves? So at his passing, as word spread, a collective wave, again linked to the principles of psychokinesis, would have caused a great stirring in the earth.
[regarding the resurrection of Jesus] Regeneration occurred along what would be considered the chakras and neural meridian systems, reconstituting the cell structure even past death and rebuilding the so-called divine body. This was often the long-held alchemical goal, also of the yogis in the siddhi processes and legends of restored extraordinary longevity.
In this particular case, then, as the body lay in the tomb, resurrection occurred by the reunification of mind, body and spirit even though the body had long passed into what was considered clinical death. If ye accept the resurrection, not just as a resuscitation but a complete rejuvenation of the body by the life force, then ye should come to understand that there is indeed such a life force—a so-called chi, or energy—or even just the biomagnetic field of the body-physical itself — which can lend itself to the regeneration of the cell tissue. With this premise everything else becomes clear.
If uncomfortable with the process of prana [or chi] it is perhaps easier to argue for spontaneous resuscitation.
