This article is the first for an eleventh year of blogging about metaphysical, spiritual and 'paranormal' subjects. The stated intention on April 26, 2009 was "to help readers find noteworthy sources of information concerning metaphysical and spiritual topics." Ten years later, readers continue to have the opportunity to learn about spiritual development considerations without charge or advertisements.
Articles are about such subjects as the diverse forms of transcendental communication and revelatory word or number patterns found
throughout 'paranormal' cases/chronologies. (incl. 1, 2, 3, 4) However, it has been clear over the course of decades that countless people use their leisure hours to entertain themselves with the media franchises of 'popular culture' rather than trying to discover how to expand their understanding about metaphysical aspects of life. Not knowing where to begin such an investigation, people may overlook the essential truth of such proverbs as "seek and you shall find" and "what you seek is seeking you" (as mentioned in a recent article).
This blog provides profile accounts of the gamut of 'chosen ones' — people whose documented lives reveal how their spiritual consciousness has been expanded through each of their individual 'paranormal' initiations. The events of my own unexpected path of spiritual discovery are described in the free online books at https://testament.org.
After witnessing firsthand a series of events that enabled me to know about conditions of life usually equated with beliefs and the theoretical among the uninitiated, I was compelled to share what I'd learned with others. Having previously worked in publicity/public relations, I've occasionally issued news releases over the years. A 2014 news release is entitled "Blog Encourages Readers to Develop Their Perspective of 'Unexplained Phenomena'".

Selected from the previous blog articles is the following list of Ten Articles (in chronological order) offering occasional blog readers data that can readily help anyone overcome incorrect perceptions about life based upon erroneous opinions and teachings (due to ignorance) that may have been influential to them. An excerpt from each article is presented.

A simple and basic conclusion about the information presented by this article is an appraisal that clandestine agendas discount the spiritual value of honesty espoused in all of the world's wisdom traditions. It would seem humanity is faced with an age where secrecy is an accepted paradigm.
It seems important to remind that any orientation of a person toward countries, companies or a particular office as domains of perfunctory acquiescence will result with decisions weighing heavily on one's conscience as one becomes aware of concealed information or circumstances having an adverse impact on the welfare of others.

A healer who comprehensively documented his spiritual healing and became known throughout the world was Harry Edwards (1893-1976) of England. After first writing biographies of mediums Jack Webber and Arnold Clare, Henry James (Harry) Edwards wrote The Science of Spirit Healing (1945). Edwards wrote a variety of further books about 'spiritual'/'psychic' healing during his lifetime. In his initial book on healing, he reasoned: "That consequent on the emission of a thought appeal by a human instrument, a discarnate mind is able to receive the request, and is then able to apply the correct quality of force to the particular disharmony in the body of the patient."

Consistent readers of this blog will notice in the account involving Benjamin Solari Parravicini an incidence of The 'Bel' (or 'Bell') Pattern and The Nine Pattern. Other incidents of The Bell Pattern in the book include locations in or near Belgium and Belo Horizonte, Brazil; the address of one witness was on Calle Fray Luis Beltrán; and a close encounter case in Italy occurred to a couple named Bellingeri. Although details are sketchy in some of the accounts, an occurrence of the 'Michael' Pattern is found in a 1965 French UFO sighting case at the St. Michel Observatory investigated by Aimé Michel with Charles Bowen. Most oddly, a French 1974 case includes a space visitor compared to a Michelin advert.

This article offers some examples of recurring metaphors that can be found among diverse case studies involving 'paranormal' or 'unexplained phenomena,' encompassing clairvoyance and diverse cases of transcendental communication, including Electronic Voice Phenomena reported by Friedrich Jürgenson, an incident from contemporary spiritual medium Rosemary Altea's autobiography, a Leslie Flint Direct Voice audio recording, Ouija board communication in the 'Messages from Michael' case, Instrumental Transcommunication chronicled by Anabela Cardoso, an event in the career of physical medium Alec Harris, and an incident reported as chronicled in the nonfiction case study Testament. Metaphorical parallels in these instance include an oceanic ship and face masks. The article concludes with several excerpts from the Edgar Cayce channeled reading transcripts.

Clairvoyance and Materialisation (1927) is the English translation of L'Ectoplasmie et la Clairvoyance (1924) by Gustave Geley (1868-1924). In the book, Geley described nine sittings with medium 'Eva C.' These laboratory notes are succinct so I am presenting them in this article with book photographs inserted when mentioned. Some of the enlargement photos show the mobile and mutable aspects of the biological phenomenon involving the amorphous substance that has come to be called 'ectoplasm.'
Geley mentioned that medium Eva C. "exteriorises the amorphous solid in exceptional abundance." It is more appropriate in what should be a more knowing epoch to qualify this statement by attributing the manifestations to an omnipresent Force.

After documenting his investigations into Spiritualism in two books, W. Usborne Moore (1849-1918) in the concluding chapter of The Voices (1913) reflected about the spiritual quandary of humanity. He referred to himself as a "collector of facts," wondered "What is a medium?," and understood human beings to have "a physical body and a spiritual body." Moore was left to contemplate the metaphysical ramifications of the 'marvels' and 'revelations' he'd witnessed and was able to express his predominant insight: "It is my conviction that spiritism is a Divine institution permitted by the Almighty . . ."
More than a hundred years after the publication of Moore's books, the investigator of unexplained phenomena finds a diverse assortment of more recent cases for analysis and comparison; along with easier access to sources from previous centuries via the Internet. I've previously mentioned the noticeable consistency in the use of the pronoun "we" (and sometimes "us") in transcripts of transcendental communication. In this article, I am offering a selection of 22 examples from preceding articles. (An asterisk indicates an English translation.)

Leslie Flint appraised the entities who came to speak: " . . . all of them had something interesting, informative or uplifting to say which was recorded on tape . . ." He wrote in his autobiography about the first sitters to make tape recordings of his seances, George Woods and Betty Greene: ". . . they always recorded their sittings on tape so that others might share their experience . . ."
Other collections of recordings available at wholejoy.com are named after those patrons responsible for the sittings: the Cook Sisters or Lynn Russell; while others are named after recurring voices such as those recognizable as that of Annie Nanji or of Douglas Conacher. The complexity of the manifesting personalities was considered in a previous blog article. Many recordings feature at the beginning and conclusion Flint's control 'Mickey,' whose humorous orations put people at ease upon dealing with profound questions of oneself and life beyond our earthly sphere of existence.
There are many illustrious communicator names to be found among the recordings, such as: Charles Dickens, Sir Winston Churchill, St. Francis of Assisi, Herbert Hoover, Thomas Jefferson, Louis Pasteur, George Bernard Shaw, Rabindranath Tagore and Queen Victoria. There are as many communicators who led Earth lives without achieving worldly renown. A communicator voice identified as "Chinese Man" is heard to say: "I have lived on your planet back centuries ago to China. I have been called by several names. And I do not feel there would be any advantage for you to know the name by which I was known . . . We are not in a world that is three-dimensional. We are in a world that is fourth dimensional . . ."

Since becoming a blogger commenting about paranormal and metaphysical subjects, I've noticed that many photographs of paranormal manifestations are assumed to be hoaxes by contemporary people who haven't taken the time to closely investigate and research particular cases. After discovering some prominent 'spirit messages' while transcribing my Oklahoma interviews, I learned about Electronic Voice Phenomena ('EVP') and now recognize (as I've mentioned previously) that EVP may be obtained anywhere with all varieties of recording devices. Listen closely to unedited radio or TV broadcasts/recordings and you may be surprised. While watching people speak, I've also noticed instances when people make unconscious utterances such as "no," thus negating what they are consciously stating. This is further evidence of the spiritual Force constituting a shared subconscious among all people.

During 2017 and several preceding years, 'channeling' has been the subject of a variety of articles at this blog with the most recent article published last week. Nevertheless, I'm aware that there are some people who haven't yet begun exploring this topic. Therefore, provided below are five links to videos selected for people who haven't yet taken the time to learn about extensively documented cases of authentic 'channeling.'

Testimonials of supernormal phenomena throughout the ages present illuminating correlations for interpretation. 2019 is the time for people to develop a perspective of the meaning of events usually categorized with such terms as 'paranormal' or 'anomalous phenomena' rather than merely associating such occurrences with some fantastical 'twilight zone' of imaginary dreads. Superstition and fictitious programming can have a cumulative effect on an individual, distracting one from learning about the actual circumstances chronicled in nonfiction case studies. Those who study this data commonly have the goal of expanded spiritual understanding. A person beginning to learn about such subjects as 'spiritual healing' or 'channeling' at first might dismiss the data as 'crazy' or 'impossible'; however, continuing to learn may soon bring the realization that one's state of spiritual awareness will determine what miracles are recognized.
