Spiritual Healing In Review

This image is from the 2010 documentary video "Healing: Miracles, Mysteries and John of God."  Other commercial documentaries about the Brazilian healer include "John of God: Visiting Joao de Deus at Casa de Dom Inácio" (2002), "Miracle Man: John of God" (2005) and "I Do Not Heal, God Is The One Who Heals: A Tribute to John of God" (2006).

 
 

Throughout the recent news reports about the accusations against João de Deus (John of God) there has usually been no mention of the extensive documentation for supernormal healing that has occurred in proximity to his mediumship.  This reality is known to researchers yet has usually been ignored or overlooked among the flurry of articles proclaiming desultory assumptions and sensationalism. 

I commented about the apparent mentality of many contemporary people in an article from May entitled "Expanded Consciousness is Possible for Everyone" — A part of the problem with creditable 'paranormal' case studies being overlooked are the commercial fear-based fiction and nonfiction books exploiting superstitious orientations to 'unexplained phenomena.' 

Something apparently not considered by people who haven't taken the time to adequately investigate the subject of spiritual healing is the practicality that this information could be very helpful for them now or at some future time in their lives.
